The structural analysis and design of walls and columns for gravity, wind, earthquake and robustness load combinations was conducted using RAM Structural System (RSS). The structual analysis model was assembled by stacking the individula RAM Concept (CPT) floor plate models. After the building was analysed in RSS, the Level-4 transfer podium was exported from RSS and imported into CPT with all of the transfer loads applied and load combinations defined for detailed design of the post-tensioning tendons and conventional reinforcement. One of the many engineering challenges, including partial top-down construction, was that the tower loads from the future Stages 4 &amp; 5 had to be accounted for in the design of the Level-4 transfer as well as the associated walls, columns and piles that needed to be built for Laguna and St Tropez. This meant that a complete analysis of all four buildings was necessary. Using the stare-of-the-art in structural engineering software such as RSS and CPT facilitated itteritave analyes and design with agililty. </div><div>The directors of fidelisstructural engineering extend their gratitude to Hutchinson Builders for providing the opportunity to work with them and their entire team on this very special METRO Property Development project...
